Tactical folders made by the top brands have traditionally been a bit of a pricey affair. So the RUI range have been a welcome addition to the market place. The RUI predator weighs in just under 200gms and is extremely beefy. The thumb stud opening combined with the easy out flip push point on the back of blade enables an incredibly fast opening with just a flick of the wrist and a little push on the opener.

The construction of the Predator from blade tip to window screen punch is one of all machined metal.
The blade being of Titanium coated black 440c stainless steel. Its a combination Tanto blade with serrations near the scales. This makes it an ideal cutting combination for ropes, cord or

webbing.

The handle has machined metal patterned scales which enable a good firm grip. The liner locking mechanism within the handle is user friendly. With a bit of practice enable one handed closing as well as opening. The handle is finished off with a lanyard hole.

My impressions of the Predator is one of strength. Its priced reasonably and I feel it will last for an extremely long time. I've always found Tanto blades very user friendly so I think the Predator will be a very useful addition to my collection.
